Essential oils & Fitness: A natural way to elevate your wellbeing
Updated: May 18
At Body Balance Training, we believe that true wellness goes beyond exercise alone. It’s about creating harmony between the body, the mind, and the energy we bring into our daily lives. That’s why we created a unique approach that combines physical fitness with the power of natural essential oils.

Over time, we discovered that essential oils coming directly from nature may support not only relaxation, but also focus, energy, recovery, and emotional balance during training sessions. By combining movement with natural wellness practices, we help people feel more connected to their body while getting the most out of every session.
Before training, we often use peppermint essential oil to prepare both the body and mind. Peppermint may help open the airways, allowing better breathing and oxygen flow throughout the body. Oxygen plays a key role in muscle performance, endurance, and focus during exercise. Many people also experience a refreshing sensation that helps improve concentration and elevate their energy before starting the workout.
At the end of each session, we shift into recovery mode with stretching, meditation, and lavender essential oil. Lavender has long been recognized for its calming properties, and research suggests it may help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, the part of the nervous system responsible for relaxation and recovery. This allows the body to slow down, release stress, and restore balance after physical activity.
The combination of movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and natural oils creates an experience that supports both physical and mental wellbeing. Instead of simply “working out,” our goal is to help people reconnect with themselves through intentional movement and natural wellness practices.
If you’re looking for a more holistic way to improve your health, Body Balance Training offers a unique experience where fitness and nature come together to support your everyday life.
